Absolute liberty is absolutism.

I’ve seen people, children, with polio in West Africa. It’s horrible. People didn’t get the polio vaccine because it wasn’t available.

I’ve never seen anyone with polio in the U.S.. At least anyone below 70. Almost every child gets a polio vaccine.

People aren’t getting a vaccine against SARS-CoV2 because of politics, mostly. It’s horrible. People will get sick because of it.

Maybe they think it’s not that big a deal. Look around. Things shut down each time the virus surges. It surges every few months. How many times does this have to happen before “the vaccine hesitant” realize vaccination matters?

Absolute liberty is absolutism. Absolutism is authoritarian.

Authoritarians persecute and oppress others. This is what some must want.
